Vaggelis Nifitsas was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Alketas Zafiriou capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alketas Zafiriou really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Kleon Plousis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Karteros F.C. booed when Káto Lipokhórion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trifon Theofilopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute Louis Mistriotis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Polichronos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christos Iatrakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Christos Polichronos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christos Polichronos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Mistriotis, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Christos Iatrakis struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Christos Polichronos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karteros F.C.. 36 minutes into the game, Thomas Dentzas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Káto Lipokhórion's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karteros F.C. the free kick. Thomas Dentzas kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Christos Iatrakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute Christos Iatrakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Polichronos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilias Raptis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaggelis Nifitsas having to interfere. A collision led to Karteros F.C. getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Kleon Plousis hit a great ball. Ilias Raptis struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Vaggelis Nifitsas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Káto Lipokhórion. In the 46th minute of the game, Trifon Theofilopoulos landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aris Bezos during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Karteros F.C.'s Aris Bezos got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Alketas Zafiriou made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play Káto Lipokhórion's Thomas Dentzas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Karteros F.C. booed when Káto Lipokhórion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Dentzas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christos Iatrakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Christos Polichronos made a huge save. A collision led to Káto Lipokhórion getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Alketas Zafiriou hit a great ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Christos Iatrakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karteros F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Christos Iatrakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 1-2 became the score in the 71st minute when Louis Mistriotis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Christos Iatrakis came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Karteros F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christos Iatrakis couldn't finish the play. Karteros F.C.'s Christos Iatrakis got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Káto Lipokhórion booed when Karteros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aris Bezos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Louis Mistriotis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Káto Lipokhórion's Christos Polichronos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Mistriotis in the 89th minute of play forced Káto Lipokhórion's goalkeeper Christos Polichronos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Káto Lipokhórion's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Mistriotis came free, but Christos Polichronos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Christos Iatrakis came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Karteros F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christos Iatrakis couldn't finish the play. The Káto Lipokhórion fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Karteros F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
