Thodoris Toboulidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Christos Polichronos made a huge save. Christoforos Pagias was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 6 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the game, one of Káto Lipokhórion:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Christos Polichronos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giorgos Kostoulis's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giorgos Kostoulis in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christos Polichronos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Giorgos Kostoulis took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Christos Polichronos to make any attempt to save it. If Alketas Zafiriou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th match minute, ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alketas Chronidis to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Káto Lipokhórion getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Thomas Dentzas hit a great ball. Trifon Theofilopoulos's late challenge caught a ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trifon Theofilopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Káto Lipokhórion getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Trifon Theofilopoulos hit a great ball. The supporters of ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS booed when Káto Lipokhórion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Liolios didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Giorgos Kostoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Alketas Zafiriou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Káto Lipokhórion's supporters rose to their feet, but Alketas Zafiriou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoforos Dimitroulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giorgos Kostoulis in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christos Polichronos saved Káto Lipokhórion from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Achilleas Pirovolidis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Giorgos Kostoulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alketas Zafiriou to make the kick off. Alketas Zafiriou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christos Polichronos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achilleas Pirovolidis in the 57th minute of the match. Káto Lipokhórion's Christos Polichronos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achilleas Pirovolidis in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Káto Lipokhórion getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Thomas Dentzas hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Káto Lipokhórion's goal looked a bit too open when Achilleas Pirovolidis came free, but Christos Polichronos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Achilleas Pirovolidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Christos Polichronos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Káto Lipokhórion's Christos Polichronos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Kostoulis in the 72nd minute of play. Trifon Theofilopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoforos Dimitroulis having to interfere. A collision led to ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Kostas Valassidis hit a great ball. Giorgos Kostoulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Christos Polichronos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Giorgos Kostoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alketas Zafiriou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoforos Dimitroulis having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Káto Lipokhórion players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ΧΑΤΖΗΚΥΡΙΑΚΕΙΟ PIRAEUS.
