Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Akakios Psomiadis started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Thanasis Iordanidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stars and the ziptse players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanasis Iordanidis hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Fotis Kaklamanakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iosif Zabetas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ziptse's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paris Tzevelekos in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Prodromos Taganikas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ziptse's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stars the free kick. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ziptse! When the match had been going on for 11 minutes, Stars's Evripidis Basinas got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lakis Karapialis. Fotis Kaklamanakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Zabetas in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ziptse's Diogenis Sentouikidis got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 19 minutes of play ziptse's Thanasis Vrisimitzakis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, ziptse's Thanasis Vrisimitzakis got a free kick in the 20th minute. Stars's Evripidis Basinas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lakis Karapialis but with some difficulty. Akakios Psomiadis hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Stars's Dimitris Tsichlas got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ziptse! If Giannis Antoniadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Stars booed when ziptse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogenis Sentouikidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. ziptse's Lakis Karapialis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fanis Violaris in the 38th minute of play. Iosif Zabetas struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Fotis Kaklamanakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ziptse. After a rather tough play, Stars's Dimitris Tsichlas got a free kick in the 46th minute. Fotis Kaklamanakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosif Zabetas, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fanis Violaris to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Giannis Antoniadis sped through ziptse's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lakis Karapialis. ziptse's Lakis Karapialis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Antoniadis in the 56th minute of play. Christodoulos Asimopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Fanis Violaris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iosif Zabetas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fotis Kaklamanakis having to interfere. Lakis Karapialis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fanis Violaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ziptse booed when Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fanis Violaris didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 played minutes ziptse got a freekick which was hit by Akakios Psomiadis. After recieving a nice pass, Stars's Evripidis Basinas tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Stars's Giannis Antoniadis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lakis Karapialis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iosif Zabetas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evripidis Basinas's late challenge caught a ziptse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evripidis Basinas helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes Stars got a freekick which was hit by Evripidis Basinas. If Akakios Psomiadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stars's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
