Petros Toufekas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Alkoolikoi FC's Soulis Tsitsiridis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vassilis Kostoulas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andreas Lentakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aggelos Kazanidis kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Vassilis Papadopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Kostoulas having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Alkoolikoi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Petros Toufekas came free, but Panos Kappos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vassilis Kostoulas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Soulis Tsitsiridis, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Nikos Tsagaropoulos's late challenge caught a Alkoolikoi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nikos Tsagaropoulos helped the player get up and apologised. If Dimitris Tsirakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Lentakos hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Alkoolikoi FC's Iosif Christodoulakis got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Miltiadis Papaggeloulis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alkoolikoi FC's Panos Kappos didn't even have to move. Andreas Lentakos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Panos Kappos made a huge save. 44 minutes into the game, Dimitris Tsirakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIAMANDIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alkoolikoi FC the free kick. In the 44th minute, Dimitris Tsirakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, DIAMANDIA's goal looked a bit too open when Soulis Tsitsiridis came free, but Vassilis Kostoulas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Soulis Tsitsiridis made a kick off. Alketas Nestoriadis kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute DIAMANDIA were awarded a corner. Miltiadis Papaggeloulis went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Miltiadis Papaggeloulis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Panos Kappos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 60th minute, Petros Toufekas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DIAMANDIA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Vassilis Kostoulas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Soulis Tsitsiridis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vassilis Papadopoulos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Vassilis Kostoulas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Panos Kappos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Lentakos in the 67th minute of play. Fokas Moraitidis hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Andreas Lentakos took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Panos Kappos. Panos Kappos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The supporters of Alkoolikoi FC booed when DIAMANDIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Tsirakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimitris Tsirakis hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Panos Kappos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fokas Moraitidis in the 91st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, DIAMANDIA's Fokas Moraitidis got a free kick in the 94th minute. Vassilis Kostoulas acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alexandros Kakadelis. DIAMANDIA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Alkoolikoi FC for a fine match.
