Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fanis Violaris started the match with the kick off. Thomas Tzirakis kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Argyris Papadakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Tsichlas, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 17th play minutes Hong De Cheng shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Fotis Kaklamanakis and just under the crossbar into goal. 21 minutes into the match, Kalamos FC's Thomas Tzirakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fotis Kaklamanakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Hong De Cheng came free, but Fotis Kaklamanakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Kyriakos Klanakis could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Argyris Papadakis however easily saved by the left post. In the 40th minute Hong De Cheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fotis Kaklamanakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hong De Cheng in the 42nd minute of play forced Stars's goalkeeper Fotis Kaklamanakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Hong De Cheng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalamos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hong De Cheng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Kalamos FC booed when Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Tsichlas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 53rd minute, Thomas Tzirakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Kalamos FC's Hong De Cheng in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stars's goalie prevented a goal. Fotis Kaklamanakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hong De Cheng in the 55th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play Stars's Dimitris Tsichlas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Stars's zone, Thomas Tzirakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fotis Kaklamanakis came out of the goal and Thomas Tzirakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hong De Cheng came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Kalamos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hong De Cheng couldn't finish the play. Kalamos FC's Thomas Tzirakis got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute Hong De Cheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fotis Kaklamanakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hong De Cheng did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Fotis Kaklamanakis 71 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Kalamos FC's Thomas Tzirakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fotis Kaklamanakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Kalamos FC's Thomas Tzirakis in 78 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Fotis Kaklamanakis guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The supporters of Kalamos FC booed when Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fanis Violaris didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Fanis Violaris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Stars defense, Alf-Inge Haaland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fotis Kaklamanakis. The Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fotis Kaklamanakis should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Fotis Kaklamanakis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 94th minute, Kalamos FC's Alf-Inge Haaland ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fotis Kaklamanakis. Fotis Kaklamanakis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Kalamos FC played a much better game than Stars and deserved their victory. The Stars players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
