Lakis Karapialis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iosif Zabetas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nestoras Kavvadias firmly grabbed it by the left post. 13 minutes into the match, Molendikó FC's Nikiforos Theofilou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lakis Karapialis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, ziptse's goal looked a bit too open when Errikos Melonakos came free, but Lakis Karapialis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestoras Kavvadias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akakios Psomiadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Petros Psarras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Errikos Melonakos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Molendikó FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Errikos Melonakos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lakis Karapialis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Molendikó FC's Errikos Melonakos got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Diogenis Sentouikidis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nestoras Kavvadias, 2-0. Nikiforos Theofilou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nikiforos Theofilou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lakis Karapialis having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikiforos Theofilou made a kick off. Molendikó FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Petros Psarras in the 55th minute. Christos Pourliotopoulos thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Lakis Karapialis, a very annoying self made goal in the 55th minute which led to 2-1. Lakis Karapialis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikiforos Theofilou in the 64th minute of the match. When Errikos Melonakos came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Molendikó FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Errikos Melonakos couldn't finish the play. If Errikos Melonakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lakis Karapialis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikiforos Theofilou in the 73rd minute of the match. Errikos Melonakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Errikos Melonakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Lakis Karapialis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Giorgos Kalaboukas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Molendikó FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ziptse the free kick. In the 87th match minute, Molendikó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Kalaboukas to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diogenis Sentouikidis during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 91 played minutes ziptse got a freekick which was hit by Diogenis Sentouikidis. Nestoras Kavvadias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thanasis Vrisimitzakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
