After a rather tough play, DIAMANDIA's Kostas Skarmoutsos got a free kick in the 20th minute. DIAMANDIA's Vassilis Kostoulas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kleon Pezikoglou in the 45th minute of play.

With a little luck, Coca Juniors's Stergios Bourboulithras got control of the ball when Andreas Lentakos tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Sokratis Lekkas fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DIAMANDIA's protests and gave Sokratis Lekkas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, DIAMANDIA's Sokratis Lekkas got a free kick in the 59th minute.
