Anestis Tsionas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanos Lazanas kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Nasos Papagiannoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anestis Tsionas having to interfere. Marios Stathoulias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iason Stasinopoulos went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Alexandros Dentsas hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in PANATHINAIKOS FC's zone, Nasos Papagiannoulis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anestis Tsionas came out of the goal and Nasos Papagiannoulis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
