Dimitris Nestorakoglou hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, DIAMANDIA's goal looked a bit too open when Giotis Kounadakis came free, but Vassilis Kostoulas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Real Madrid's Menelaos Papaloukas got control of the ball when Andreas Lentakos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Petros Toufekas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DIAMANDIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petros Toufekas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andreas Lentakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Menelaos Papaloukas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Christos Bougatsakis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Vassilis Kostoulas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giotis Kounadakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Petros Toufekas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas Lentakos struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Menelaos Papaloukas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DIAMANDIA. DIAMANDIA's Vassilis Kostoulas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save DIAMANDIA from getting a goal against them. Real Madrid's Menelaos Papaloukas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Lentakos in the 89th minute of play. The DIAMANDIA fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when DIAMANDIA's Petros Toufekas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
