Paris Christoulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefanos Boutzoukas in the 7th minute of the match. If Stefanos Boutzoukas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Argyris Potamiotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paris Christoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Foiníkion BC's goal looked a bit too open when Stefanos Boutzoukas came free, but Paris Christoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kostas Micheloudakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 minutes of play, Foiníkion BC's Paschalis Moulopoulos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kostas Micheloudakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Paschalis Moulopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefanos Boutzoukas struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Paris Christoulis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anagennisi Giannitson. Isidoros Karpetopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidoros Karpetopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Anagennisi Giannitson's Isidoros Karpetopoulos got a free kick in the 48th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefanos Boutzoukas to make the kick off. If Stefanos Boutzoukas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoros Karpetopoulos got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When Aggelos Roros fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Foiníkion BC's protests and gave Aggelos Roros a yellow card for diving instead. Paschalis Moulopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 81 minutes into the match, Paschalis Moulopoulos notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Anagennisi Giannitson's Kostas Micheloudakis. Kostas Micheloudakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th match minute, Anagennisi Giannitson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Notis Zoras to maneuver through the defense. Argyris Potamiotis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paris Christoulis having to interfere. The supporters of Anagennisi Giannitson booed when Foiníkion BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aggelos Roros didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the game, Stefanos Boutzoukas lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Paris Christoulis.
