The audience thought a goal was coming when Giannis Karagiotas got free with Nasos Stelas in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 22 played minutes Agymnastoi got a freekick which was hit by Eugenios Karagiozoglou. In the 23rd minute of the match, Candido Christobal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nasos Stelas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Eugenios Karagiozoglou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agymnastoi's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenios Karagiozoglou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yiyo Alaez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evripidis Moisidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yiyo Alaez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Agymnastoi's Nasos Stelas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Agymnastoi from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute, Giannis Karagiotas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.E Rizomaton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giannis Karagiotas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Giannis Karagiotas hit a great ball. In the 53rd match minute, Agymnastoi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoros Psaridis to maneuver through the defense. Giannis Karagiotas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nasos Stelas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Agymnastoi booed when A.E Rizomaton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joanes Saboya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nasos Stelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Karagiotas in the 77th minute of play. Agymnastoi's Nasos Stelas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Christobal in the 83rd minute of play. The A.E Rizomaton fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when A.E Rizomaton's Candido Christobal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Isidoros Psaridis charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidoros Psaridis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee ignored Agymnastoi's protests and gave Babbis Ntolkas a yellow card for diving instead. Isidoros Psaridis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Yiyo Alaez made a huge save. Nasos Stelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Christobal in the 96th minute of play. After 97 minutes Agymnastoi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Giannis Karagiotas who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Giannis Karagiotas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Agymnastoi's Nasos Stelas did a great save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The A.E Rizomaton fans cheered their team off the field, for while Agymnastoi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
