Anestis Vourtzoumis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eutichios Lemonis in the 8th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Rodosg13 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Kakaroglou came free, but Anestis Vourtzoumis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menelaos Mavroudis to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute Ilias Kanelakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostolis Fragakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Giannis Kakaroglou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rodosg13 FC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C's zone, Ilias Kanelakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apostolis Fragakos came out of the goal and Ilias Kanelakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 minutes, Christos Papadopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C and the Rodosg13 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christos Papadopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Apostolis Fragakos came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Rodosg13 FC's Fanis Chelis. But to his dismay, Fanis Chelis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Apostolis Fragakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilias Kanelakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fanis Chelis got free with Apostolis Fragakos in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the game, Ilias Kanelakis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Apostolis Fragakos. Ilias Kanelakis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Eutichios Lemonis hit a great ball. Fanis Chelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apostolis Fragakos having to interfere. Anestis Vourtzoumis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Kakaroglou in the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C's Kyriakos Tsoukalis got a free kick in the 61st minute. Ilias Kanelakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Apostolis Fragakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 minutes of play, OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C's Eutichios Lemonis made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anestis Vourtzoumis was left in no man's land by his defense there! 76 minutes into the match, Ilias Kanelakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apostolis Fragakos. OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ilias Kanelakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
