Spectators: 6786 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antonis Pnevmatikatos started the match with the kick off. In the 11th minute, Αkova's Antonis Pnevmatikatos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Christos Papadopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerasimos Skoufas in the 16th minute of play. Chatziioannou Robolas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Αkova's zone, Chatziioannou Robolas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christos Papadopoulos came out of the goal and Chatziioannou Robolas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute Antonis Pnevmatikatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitomir Barúmov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Αkova defense, Chatziioannou Robolas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christos Papadopoulos. The Αkova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christos Papadopoulos should have stopped the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Ghost Club's Chatziioannou Robolas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christos Papadopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christos Papadopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paraskevas Pardalakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Theocharis Krios kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Paraskevas Pardalakis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christos Papadopoulos skillfully saved the ball. Miltos Fragiadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Papadopoulos having to interfere. If Chatziioannou Robolas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Chatziioannou Robolas came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Ghost Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chatziioannou Robolas couldn't finish the play. Ghost Club's Chatziioannou Robolas got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerasimos Skoufas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitomir Barúmov made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Vaggelis Touboulis sent off a good shot on target. Vitomir Barúmov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aris Leontakoglou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Adamantios Ntougeroglou fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ghost Club's protests and gave Adamantios Ntougeroglou a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ghost Club's Adamantios Ntougeroglou got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When Ghost Club's Chatziioannou Robolas in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Αkova's goalie prevented a goal. In the 59th match minute, Ghost Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giannis Mellisanidis to maneuver through the defense. Gerasimos Skoufas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paraskevas Pardalakis struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Christos Papadopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ghost Club. Miltos Fragiadis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christos Papadopoulos having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Miltos Fragiadis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ghost Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Miltos Fragiadis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christos Papadopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paraskevas Pardalakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Christos Papadopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Αkova's goal looked a bit too open when Chatziioannou Robolas came free, but Christos Papadopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Vaggelis Touboulis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Αkova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaggelis Touboulis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ghost Club players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
