After a rather tough play, Aelaras-88's Fragiskos Papoutsakis got a free kick in the 5th minute. Fondas Tochouroglou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nektarios Agapiou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giotis Chatzifotis struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Fondas Tochouroglou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Autokratoras F.C.. After 11 played minutes Aelaras-88 got a freekick which was hit by Savas Papazoudis. Nikos Spyropoulos hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Viktoras Podaras, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Autokratoras F.C.'s zone, Eugenios Bokos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaggelos Kolokotronis came out of the goal and Eugenios Bokos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 minutes, Nikos Kamelidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Autokratoras F.C. and the Aelaras-88 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Nikos Kamelidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenios Bokos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Evaggelos Kolokotronis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nektarios Agapiou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fondas Tochouroglou having to interfere. Fragiskos Papoutsakis charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fragiskos Papoutsakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fragiskos Papoutsakis kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Giotis Chatzifotis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Autokratoras F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Giotis Chatzifotis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 33 in the game by Tasos Lekkas from a close distance when the talented Evaggelos Kolokotronis managed to make a qualified save. Autokratoras F.C.'s players were relieved. If Giotis Chatzifotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fragiskos Papoutsakis hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Tasos Lekkas scored 1-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evaggelos Kolokotronis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fondas Tochouroglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nektarios Agapiou in the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tasos Lekkas to make the kick off. Giotis Chatzifotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Autokratoras F.C.'s Giotis Chatzifotis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fondas Tochouroglou. That made the score 1-1 after 95 minutes of play. The Autokratoras F.C. players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Aelaras-88 from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
