After 4 minutes, Eutichios Christoulis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Foiníkion BC and the Autokratoras F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Foiníkion BC got a freekick which was hit by Eutichios Christoulis. If Giotis Chatzifotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vaggelis Theofilatos fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Autokratoras F.C.'s protests and gave Vaggelis Theofilatos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Autokratoras F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vaggelis Theofilatos to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paschalis Moulopoulos in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaggelos Kolokotronis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aggelos Roros hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Foiníkion BC's goal looked a bit too open when Giotis Chatzifotis came free, but Paris Christoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Giotis Chatzifotis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paris Christoulis was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Paris Christoulis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Autokratoras F.C.'s Nektarios Agapiou shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 40th minute Giotis Chatzifotis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paris Christoulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Autokratoras F.C.'s Thanasis Katsoulis got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Paschalis Moulopoulos didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 54th minute. Foiníkion BC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! If Paschalis Moulopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Aggelos Roros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paraskevas Papadamopoulos hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Autokratoras F.C.'s Nektarios Agapiou got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giotis Chatzifotis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paris Christoulis having to interfere. When Eutichios Christoulis came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Foiníkion BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eutichios Christoulis couldn't finish the play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
