Fondas Tochouroglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christos Georgiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 0-1 became the score in the 15th minute when Christos Georgiou elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Eugenios Bokos fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aelaras-88's protests and gave Eugenios Bokos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Aelaras-88 booed when Abaladeros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manos Nioblias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fondas Tochouroglou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Kaprivourkos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fondas Tochouroglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Kaprivourkos, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Christos Georgiou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Fondas Tochouroglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikos Spyropoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th match minute, Abaladeros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitris Kaliris to maneuver through the defense. Timos Goumas, 49 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenios Bokos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Aelaras-88's zone, Christos Georgiou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fondas Tochouroglou came out of the goal and Christos Georgiou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giannis Kaprivourkos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Georgiou in the 68th minute of play forced Aelaras-88's goalkeeper Fondas Tochouroglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fondas Tochouroglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Georgiou in the 72nd minute of the match. If Eugenios Bokos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Giannis Kaprivourkos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fondas Tochouroglou having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Christos Georgiou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abaladeros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christos Georgiou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fondas Tochouroglou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eustratios Kastanoulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenios Bokos in the 92nd minute of the match. Giannis Kaprivourkos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Abaladeros FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
