Antonis Pnevmatikatos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Kostas Micheloudakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christos Papadopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefanos Boutzoukas in the 15th minute of play. Aris Leontakoglou hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Christos Papadopoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefanos Boutzoukas went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Antonis Pnevmatikatos hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Christos Papadopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Argyris Potamiotis's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Christos Papadopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefanos Boutzoukas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoros Karpetopoulos struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Christos Papadopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anagennisi Giannitson. After 30 played minutes Αkova got a freekick which was hit by Thanasis Stiliaras. Stefanos Boutzoukas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Papadopoulos having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Anagennisi Giannitson's Stefanos Boutzoukas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christos Papadopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 48th minute, Antonis Pnevmatikatos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Αkova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The Αkova players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Anagennisi Giannitson were winning 1-2.

Anagennisi Giannitson's Argyris Potamiotis got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th match minute, Αkova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aris Leontakoglou to maneuver through the defense. Vaggelis Touboulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Antonis Pnevmatikatos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kostas Micheloudakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Christos Papadopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefanos Boutzoukas in the 68th minute of the match. Isidoros Karpetopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the match Theocharis Krios sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kostas Micheloudakis skillfully saved the ball. Kostas Micheloudakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonis Pnevmatikatos in the 79th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
