Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugenios Bokos in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kostas Micheloudakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenios Bokos in the 31st minute of play forced Anagennisi Giannitson's goalkeeper Kostas Micheloudakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Nikos Spyropoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anagennisi Giannitson's Argyris Potamiotis got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Aelaras-88 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fondas Tochouroglou should have stopped the shot. After having played for 63 minutes, Argyris Potamiotis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anagennisi Giannitson's supporters crossed their fingers, but Argyris Potamiotis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th match minute, Aelaras-88 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tasos Lekkas to maneuver through the defense. Stefanos Boutzoukas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenios Thomakos's late challenge caught a Anagennisi Giannitson's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Argyris Potamiotis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fondas Tochouroglou having to interfere. If Eugenios Bokos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefanos Boutzoukas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aelaras-88 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
