Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Agymnastoi's Eugenios Karagiozoglou started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 5 minutes, Evripidis Moisidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agymnastoi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evripidis Moisidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute, Agymnastoi's Eugenios Karagiozoglou ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paris Christoulis. Paris Christoulis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 21 played minutes Foiníkion BC got a freekick which was hit by Christos Karotsis. Agymnastoi's Evripidis Moisidis got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Thanos Tataridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nasos Stelas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Foiníkion BC's zone, Evripidis Moisidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paris Christoulis came out of the goal and Evripidis Moisidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidoros Psaridis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paris Christoulis having to interfere. Paris Christoulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evripidis Moisidis in the 40th minute of play. Paris Christoulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fivos Kakavitsas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 46 minutes, Isidoros Psaridis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agymnastoi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoros Psaridis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thanos Tataridis was the one to do the kick off. Isidoros Psaridis struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Paris Christoulis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agymnastoi. In the 55th minute Isidoros Psaridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paris Christoulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Foiníkion BC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoros Psaridis came free, but Paris Christoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michalis Louvaris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Michalis Louvaris came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Agymnastoi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michalis Louvaris couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, Foiníkion BC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoros Psaridis came free, but Paris Christoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michalis Louvaris struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Paris Christoulis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agymnastoi. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Isidoros Psaridis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agymnastoi's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoros Psaridis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paris Christoulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Eugenios Karagiozoglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Isidoros Psaridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evripidis Moisidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Paris Christoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Thanos Tataridis took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Nasos Stelas to make any attempt to save it. In the 88th minute, Evripidis Moisidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Christodoulos Togias came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Agymnastoi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christodoulos Togias couldn't finish the play. Foiníkion BC's Stamatis Tsiligiridis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nasos Stelas but with some difficulty. Isidoros Psaridis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chants of Foiníkion BC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Agymnastoi had held the ball for most of the match.
