Koulis Krotidis struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Soulis Trofantos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vitαlion BC. Soulis Trofantos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostas Prokopeas in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th play minute Grigoris Panagopoulos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aris Kamaras. 1-0. In the 18th minute, Aggelos Tabakos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aris Kamaras. The goal made the score 2-0. Grigoris Panagopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aris Kamaras having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aggelos Tabakos in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aris Kamaras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vitαlion BC's goalkeeper Aris Kamaras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aggelos Tabakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aris Kamaras having to interfere. Kostas Prokopeas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aggelos Tabakos made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Kostas Prokopeas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vitαlion BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kostas Prokopeas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Soulis Trofantos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grigoris Panagopoulos scored 3-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aris Kamaras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute, Aggelos Tabakos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SALAMINA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in SALAMINA's zone, Fokas Kalaboukas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Soulis Trofantos came out of the goal and Fokas Kalaboukas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Koulis Krotidis in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Soulis Trofantos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by SALAMINA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nikos Petkakis was slow to take the kick. During this time Vitαlion BC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Vitαlion BC's Nikos Petkakis to fire away a dangerous shot which Soulis Trofantos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SALAMINA's zone, Koulis Krotidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Soulis Trofantos came out of the goal and Koulis Krotidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, SALAMINA's Soulis Trofantos got control of the ball when Koulis Krotidis tried to sneak it across the goal line.
