The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kyriakos Barbounis charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kyriakos Barbounis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute of the match, Iordanis Lekkas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aggelos Papoulidis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dimitris Brizolakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanos Apostolakis in the 17th minute of play. Iordanis Lekkas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aggelos Papoulidis came out and tried to block the shot, but Iordanis Lekkas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. Thanos Apostolakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Brizolakos having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Traxanades's goal looked a bit too open when Theofanis Kakavos came free, but Dimitris Brizolakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Iordanis Lekkas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Simiαdhes's Aggelos Papoulidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Traxanades booed when Simiαdhes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyriakos Barbounis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iordanis Lekkas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dimitris Kasimopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aggelos Papoulidis having to make a save. Iordanis Lekkas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aggelos Papoulidis having to interfere. Aggelos Papoulidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iordanis Lekkas's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iordanis Lekkas made a kick off. The supporters of Simiαdhes booed when Traxanades was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Kokkinias didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dimitris Kasimopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Traxanades fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitris Kasimopoulos couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, Simiαdhes's goal looked a bit too open when Iordanis Lekkas came free, but Aggelos Papoulidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Traxanades's goal looked a bit too open when Thanos Apostolakis came free, but Dimitris Brizolakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Simiαdhes. In the 73rd minute, Dimitris Kasimopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Traxanades fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Zacharias Kirmitzas kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Iordanis Lekkas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd match minute, Simiαdhes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanos Apostolakis to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 87 minutes, Dimitris Kasimopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Traxanades's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitris Kasimopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute Iordanis Lekkas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aggelos Papoulidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Lakis Karameros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 played minutes Traxanades got a freekick which was hit by Dimitris Kasimopoulos. After having played for 91 minutes, Iordanis Lekkas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Traxanades's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iordanis Lekkas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dimitris Kasimopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Traxanades's Dimitris Kasimopoulos in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Traxanades fully deserved thier win.
