Aris Kamaras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kostas Prokopeas was the one to do the kick off. Koulis Krotidis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Viktoras Venopoulos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vaios Theofilakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aris Kamaras having to interfere. If Kostas Prokopeas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fokas Kalaboukas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Viktoras Venopoulos firmly grabbed it by the left post. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Vitαlion BC's goal looked a bit too open when Vaios Theofilakos came free, but Aris Kamaras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vitαlion BC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
