In the 12thth minute of the game Iordanis Lekkas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but kakodiki fc's Kostas Pitsos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitris Kasimopoulos got free with Kostas Pitsos in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Markos Mitrakoglou managed to get in a good position for a shot. kakodiki fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Markos Mitrakoglou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimitris Brizolakos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vassilis Kokkinias during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of kakodiki fc booed when Traxanades was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Kokkinias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vaggelis Sigalas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Traxanades's Dimitris Kasimopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kostas Pitsos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Traxanades's Vlassis Mathioudakis got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind kakodiki fc's goalkeeper Kostas Pitsos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute of the match, Iordanis Lekkas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kostas Pitsos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iordanis Lekkas was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes, Iordanis Lekkas made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. kakodiki fc's Kostas Pitsos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 57 minutes, Zisis Bakirtzis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the kakodiki fc and the Traxanades players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute Iordanis Lekkas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Pitsos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Traxanades's Dimitris Brizolakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Traxanades from getting a goal against them. If Iordanis Lekkas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the game, Traxanades's Dimitris Kasimopoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kostas Pitsos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dimitris Kasimopoulos in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kostas Pitsos saved kakodiki fc from getting behind. Traxanades's Dimitris Kasimopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Vassilis Giataganis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Traxanades's supporters rose to their feet, but Vassilis Giataganis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kostas Pitsos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Iordanis Lekkas came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Traxanades fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iordanis Lekkas couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the game, Dimitris Kasimopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Kostas Pitsos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Traxanades fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Traxanades's Iordanis Lekkas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There was no doubt that Traxanades were the better team. Traxanades's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
