When Lefteris Kostidis came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Babouinoi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lefteris Kostidis couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyriakos Mantouvalos in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anestis Kladas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kyriakos Mantouvalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constantinople Royal Club's Anestis Kladas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyriakos Mantouvalos in the 14th minute of play. Kyriakos Mantouvalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Anestis Kladas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kyriakos Mantouvalos's late challenge caught a Constantinople Royal Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kyriakos Mantouvalos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Babouinoi FC's Kyriakos Mantouvalos got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyriakos Mantouvalos in the 34th minute of play forced Constantinople Royal Club's goalkeeper Anestis Kladas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Minas Kastritsis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Babouinoi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Minas Kastritsis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chatziantoniou Sakellarios struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Anestis Kladas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Babouinoi FC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

With a little luck, Constantinople Royal Club's Anestis Kladas got control of the ball when Kyriakos Mantouvalos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Constantinople Royal Club's zone, Chatziantoniou Sakellarios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anestis Kladas came out of the goal and Chatziantoniou Sakellarios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Kyriakos Mantouvalos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anestis Kladas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Babouinoi FC made a substitution. Stamatis Tassoglou replaced Minas Kastritsis. 62 minutes into the game, Kyriakos Mantouvalos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Anestis Kladas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Kyriakos Mantouvalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Dimitris Kortzidis fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Constantinople Royal Club's protests and gave Dimitris Kortzidis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, Constantinople Royal Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitris Kortzidis to maneuver through the defense. Kostas Rodopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Anestis Kladas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kyriakos Mantouvalos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anestis Kladas was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, Babouinoi FC's Prokopis Sotirakopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anestis Kladas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kyriakos Mantouvalos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Anestis Kladas made a huge save. When Kyriakos Mantouvalos came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Babouinoi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kyriakos Mantouvalos couldn't finish the play. Anestis Kladas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolis Mouzakis in the 90th minute of play. Fokas Ptolemeos hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Babouinoi FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
