Anestis Kladas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlassis Charoulis in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlassis Charoulis in the 7th minute of play forced Constantinople Royal Club's goalkeeper Anestis Kladas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Savas Veggos took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anestis Kladas. Anestis Kladas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Constantinople Royal Club's goal looked a bit too open when Savas Veggos came free, but Anestis Kladas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Constantinople Royal Club's goal looked a bit too open when Vlassis Charoulis came free, but Anestis Kladas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lakis Kyparissis charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Vlassis Charoulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Savas Veggos managed to get in a good position for a shot. PAOK NEAPOLI's supporters rose to their feet, but Savas Veggos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anestis Kladas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 52nd minute Savas Tsagarakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Loukidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Savas Tsagarakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vlassis Charoulis in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anestis Kladas saved Constantinople Royal Club from getting behind. PAOK NEAPOLI's Kostas Loukidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thanos Michailidis in the 64th minute of play. Anestis Kladas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Savas Veggos in the 74th minute. Anestis Kladas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vlassis Charoulis in the 76th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, Constantinople Royal Club's Savas Tsagarakis made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kostas Loukidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kostas Loukidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Savas Tsagarakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by PAOK NEAPOLI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dimos Skilitsis was slow to take the kick. During this time Constantinople Royal Club's players had a chance to rest. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Constantinople Royal Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while PAOK NEAPOLI had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
