Spectators: 7714 (Terracing: 5787, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Polichnitos's Konstantinos Pavlopoulos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Polichnitos's Konstantinos Pavlopoulos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Giannis Varozis. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Polichnitos's zone, Menios Neochoritis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petros Livadaras came out of the goal and Menios Neochoritis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Konstantinos Pavlopoulos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giannis Varozis. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Vaggelis Moschos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polichnitos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asfakero the free kick. Vaggelis Moschos hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Asfakero's Savas Kouromichelakis got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 21 played minutes Konstantinos Pavlopoulos rounded Asfakero's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. In the 33rd minute, Konstantinos Pavlopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Asfakero's zone, Konstantinos Pavlopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giannis Varozis came out of the goal and Konstantinos Pavlopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Vassilis Triantopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asfakero's protests and gave Vassilis Triantopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Asfakero getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Vassilis Triantopoulos hit a great ball. Polichnitos's Konstantinos Pavlopoulos managed to work through Asfakero's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Konstantinos Pavlopoulos dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Avraam Kalathas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Varozis having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Savas Kouromichelakis made the kick off in the second half. Polichnitos's Petros Livadaras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Polichnitos from getting a goal against them. Konstantinos Pavlopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Asfakero's Menios Neochoritis got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Menios Neochoritis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vassilis Giasemis during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vassilis Giasemis kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Asfakero's Savas Kouromichelakis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Savas Kouromichelakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Petros Livadaras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Menios Neochoritis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Livadaras having to interfere. If Stamatis Alexakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Polichnitos's Petros Livadaras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Savas Kouromichelakis in the 94th minute of play. Savas Kouromichelakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Petros Livadaras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Polichnitos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
