If Menios Neochoritis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giannis Varozis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stavros Anthoulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Menios Neochoritis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Pirovolakis having to interfere. Vassilis Triantopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Pirovolakis having to interfere. Vassilis Pirovolakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Savas Kouromichelakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Menios Neochoritis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Vassilis Pirovolakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
