In the 18th minute Vassilis Giasemis suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Savas Tsagarakis's late challenge caught a Asfakero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Savas Tsagarakis helped the player get up and apologised. Savas Tsagarakis kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Constantinople Royal Club's goalkeeper Anestis Kladas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valerios Apostolakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Giannis Varozis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Thanos Michailidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Savas Kouromichelakis during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Asfakero's Savas Kouromichelakis got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 35 played minutes Asfakero got a freekick which was hit by Charis Papoutsas. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Menios Neochoritis made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Constantinople Royal Club's Argyris Loukakis got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 68th minute Valerios Apostolakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Varozis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asfakero's Giannis Varozis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thanos Michailidis in the 70th minute of play. Giannis Varozis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thanos Michailidis in the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to Asfakero getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Charis Papoutsas hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Asfakero's goal looked a bit too open when Thanos Michailidis came free, but Giannis Varozis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantinople Royal Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
