Vassilis Pirovolakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyriakos Mantouvalos in the 3rd minute of play. Babouinoi FC's Minas Kastritsis got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Kyriakos Mantouvalos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Kalapσdhion FC's Vassilis Pirovolakis. Vassilis Pirovolakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 9 minutes of play, Babouinoi FC's Kyriakos Mantouvalos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vassilis Pirovolakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Kalapσdhion FC's zone, Minas Kastritsis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vassilis Pirovolakis came out of the goal and Minas Kastritsis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Giannis Baltsakis fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kalapσdhion FC's protests and gave Giannis Baltsakis a yellow card for diving instead. When Babouinoi FC's Kyriakos Mantouvalos in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kalapσdhion FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Giannis Baltsakis put in a rough tackle. 22 minutes into the game, one of Kalapσdhion FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Babouinoi FC's Kyriakos Mantouvalos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vassilis Pirovolakis. After some careless play in the Kalapσdhion FC defense, Kyriakos Mantouvalos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vassilis Pirovolakis. The Kalapσdhion FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vassilis Pirovolakis should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, Kyriakos Mantouvalos made a precise shot to the right of Vassilis Pirovolakis. Kalapσdhion FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kyriakos Mantouvalos in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vassilis Pirovolakis saved Kalapσdhion FC from getting behind. When Aggelos Koutsoudakis fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kalapσdhion FC's protests and gave Aggelos Koutsoudakis a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Kalapσdhion FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Babouinoi FC:s goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyriakos Mantouvalos was the one to do the kick off. The attack was good, but when Stavros Anthoulis in the 52nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A sloppy throw-in by Thomas Theofilopoulos in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Babouinoi FC's Chatziantoniou Sakellarios. Vassilis Pirovolakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kyriakos Mantouvalos's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Kostas Rodopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vassilis Pirovolakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vassilis Pirovolakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyriakos Mantouvalos in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Aggelos Koutsoudakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kyriakos Mantouvalos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Pirovolakis having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Alexandros Dentsas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 played minutes Kalapσdhion FC got a freekick which was hit by Stavros Anthoulis. 73 minutes into the game, Babouinoi FC's Kyriakos Mantouvalos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vassilis Pirovolakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Vassilis Pirovolakis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Babouinoi FC's Kyriakos Mantouvalos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 8-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When Stamatis Tassoglou came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Babouinoi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stamatis Tassoglou couldn't finish the play. Prokopis Sotirakopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Pirovolakis having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Kyriakos Mantouvalos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Babouinoi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kyriakos Mantouvalos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vassilis Pirovolakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stamatis Tassoglou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kalapσdhion FC's zone, Kostas Rodopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vassilis Pirovolakis came out of the goal and Kostas Rodopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kyriakos Mantouvalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Babouinoi FC fully deserved thier win.
