Spectators: 7742 (Terracing: 5808, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vlassis Charoulis made the kick off which started today's match. When Stamatis Saltiris came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stamatis Saltiris couldn't finish the play. Panos Giotoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Loukidis having to interfere. Savas Veggos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Ignatios Baltimas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's goalkeeper Ignatios Baltimas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aris Papadopoulos's late challenge caught a ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aris Papadopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. Aris Papadopoulos hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Panos Giotoulis in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kostas Loukidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thrasivoulos Kalamaras during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. PAOK NEAPOLI's Kostas Loukidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Giotoulis in the 25th minute of play. Kostas Loukidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stamatis Saltiris, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Kostas Loukidis came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Stamatis Saltiris. But to his dismay, Stamatis Saltiris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 33rd match minute, PAOK NEAPOLI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giannis Koureas to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, PAOK NEAPOLI's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Giotoulis came free, but Kostas Loukidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kostas Loukidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stamatis Saltiris in the 35th minute of the match. Vlassis Charoulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fanis Pittarakis hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. With his leg Ignatios Baltimas managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when PAOK NEAPOLI's Savas Veggos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The PAOK NEAPOLI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ were winning 0-1.

Stathis Papadimoulis kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Panos Giotoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Loukidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Stamatis Saltiris got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Panos Giotoulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Kostas Loukidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paris Zouboulakis charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paris Zouboulakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Paris Zouboulakis got a free kick in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Savas Veggos in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. After having played for 74 minutes, Savas Veggos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PAOK NEAPOLI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Savas Veggos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Panos Giotoulis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kostas Loukidis was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After some careless play in the ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ defense, Savas Veggos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ignatios Baltimas. The ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignatios Baltimas should have stopped the shot. Panos Giotoulis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, PAOK NEAPOLI's Kostas Loukidis got control of the ball when Stamatis Saltiris tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute Panos Giotoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Loukidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Stamatis Saltiris came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ fans jumped to their feet.
