Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Panos Papapetrou took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ermis Papagiannatos hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Argyris Christou struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Odysseas Kaktos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berbαti. After having played for 8 minutes, Prokopis Kavalaris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berbαti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prokopis Kavalaris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prokopis Kavalaris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Odysseas Kaktos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 minutes, Pantelis Matalas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berbαti and the Valkαnon players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Berbαti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pantelis Matalas to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Babbis Siskos from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Anestis Lazaridis's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Odysseas Kaktos came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Berbαti's Argyris Christou. But to his dismay, Argyris Christou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Prokopis Kavalaris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tasos Abelas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Anestis Lazaridis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Tasos Abelas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tasos Abelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anestis Lazaridis having to interfere. The Valkαnon players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Berbαti were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Argyris Christou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tasos Abelas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Anestis Lazaridis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anestis Lazaridis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Panos Papapetrou's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Panos Papapetrou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anestis Lazaridis having to make a save. 65 minutes into the match, Berbαti's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Papapetrou came free, but Anestis Lazaridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Berbαti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tasos Pilavas to maneuver through the defense. Tasos Abelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anestis Lazaridis having to interfere. Panos Papapetrou scored 1-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anestis Lazaridis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tasos Pilavas charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tasos Pilavas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 minutes of play, Valkαnon's Tasos Abelas made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anestis Lazaridis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Odysseas Kaktos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argyris Christou in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Valkαnon booed when Berbαti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Pantelopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Panos Papapetrou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Anestis Lazaridis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valkαnon's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
