In the 19th minute, Lambis Soupidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Chatzinikolaou in the 23rd minute of play forced Berbαti's goalkeeper Anestis Lazaridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anestis Lazaridis came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Vidhiαkion's Lambis Soupidis. But to his dismay, Lambis Soupidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Anestis Lazaridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Chatzinikolaou, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, one of Vidhiαkion:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vidhiαkion. Vidhiαkion:s Apostolis Bagasakos showed great skill when he stopped Argyris Kopelis:s penalty. 32 minutes into the match, Berbαti's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Chatzinikolaou came free, but Anestis Lazaridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vidhiαkion's Apostolis Bagasakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Vidhiαkion from getting a goal against them. Thomas Stamatopoulos hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Argyris Christou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Tasos Pilavas charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tasos Pilavas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tasos Pilavas kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Berbαti's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Chatzinikolaou came free, but Anestis Lazaridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Giannis Chatzinikolaou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anestis Lazaridis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giannis Chatzinikolaou couldn't finish the play. Lambis Soupidis came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anestis Lazaridis could save by the left post. If Lambis Soupidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anestis Lazaridis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Chatzinikolaou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lambis Soupidis struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Anestis Lazaridis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vidhiαkion.
