After a defensive mix-up in Taxitzides F.C's zone, Nikos Kraidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andreas Vazakos came out of the goal and Nikos Kraidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andreas Vazakos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michalis Geropappas went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Nestoras Kolonelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Trachanas in the 40th minute of play. Dimitris Trachanas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestoras Kolonelos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After 52 minutes of play, Taxitzides F.C's Dimitris Trachanas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestoras Kolonelos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th minute Alekos Valassopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Vazakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alekos Valassopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Andreas Vazakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitris Trachanas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Nestoras Kolonelos made a huge save. Andreas Vazakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alekos Valassopoulos in the 83rd minute of play. Nestoras Kolonelos was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Manolis Papadimatos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manolis Papadimatos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 88th minute, Dionysis Koufos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Nikos Kraidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andreas Vazakos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
