Efthimis Anagnostou charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efthimis Anagnostou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Efthimis Anagnostou kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Paris Karabelopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Royal Knights's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paris Karabelopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Black Royal Knights's goal looked a bit too open when Dimos Chalkias came free, but Grigoris Bakolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimos Chalkias's late challenge caught a Black Royal Knights's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimos Chalkias helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Black Royal Knights booed when Sokráki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimos Chalkias didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paris Karabelopoulos got free with Nikos Bollos in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th match minute, Sokráki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimos Chalkias to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Paschalis Mingas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Charilaos Samaras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sokráki's supporters rose to their feet, but Charilaos Samaras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grigoris Bakolas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grigoris Bakolas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paschalis Mingas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sokráki were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Black Royal Knights's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Makis Voliotis took the corner. Sokráki's Makis Voliotis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Grigoris Bakolas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charilaos Samaras in the 39th minute of play forced Black Royal Knights's goalkeeper Grigoris Bakolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grigoris Bakolas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paschalis Mingas, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Charilaos Samaras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Grigoris Bakolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charilaos Samaras to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Sokráki's zone, Panagiotis Kosmopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikos Bollos came out of the goal and Panagiotis Kosmopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charilaos Samaras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Grigoris Bakolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Black Royal Knights's Grigoris Bakolas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charilaos Samaras in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Black Royal Knights getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Giorgos Kalamaropoulos hit a great ball. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Royal Knights's goalkeeper Grigoris Bakolas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Grigoris Bakolas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charilaos Samaras's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. A collision led to Black Royal Knights getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Paris Karabelopoulos hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Sokráki's Paschalis Mingas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grigoris Bakolas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paschalis Mingas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Black Royal Knights's Miltos Patsiavouras got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paris Karabelopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panagiotis Kosmopoulos in the 89th minute of play forced Sokráki's goalkeeper Nikos Bollos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Paris Karabelopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paris Karabelopoulos in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nikos Bollos saved Sokráki from getting behind. In the 97th minute of the match Black Royal Knights got a corner. Sokráki's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giorgos Kalamaropoulos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zacharias Kerkoportas made a great header on Black Royal Knights's corner, it was just that Sokráki's Nikos Bollos managed to reach the ball for a save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
