The supporters of Vidhiαkion booed when Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Tatsis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orestis Goumas hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Chatzinikolaou came free, but Fondas Lazarakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lambis Soupidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fondas Lazarakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Chatzinikolaou in the 18th minute of the match. Milan's Fondas Lazarakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Milan from getting a goal against them. Konstantinos Skarpathiotis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Fondas Lazarakis made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, Lambis Soupidis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fondas Lazarakis. Milan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lambis Soupidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fanis Roubos in the 29th minute of play forced Vidhiαkion's goalkeeper Apostolis Bagasakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Milan getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Akakios Koubilias hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Milan's Giannis Tsakiropoulos got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Lambis Soupidis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fondas Lazarakis. Milan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lambis Soupidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Tasos Boulas's late challenge caught a Milan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tasos Boulas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vidhiαkion getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Tasos Boulas hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Anestis Malamas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Anestis Malamas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apostolis Bagasakos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Giannis Chatzinikolaou made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Giannis Chatzinikolaou made a precise shot to the right of Fondas Lazarakis. Milan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Fondas Lazarakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lambis Soupidis in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Konstantinos Skarpathiotis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anestis Malamas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apostolis Bagasakos having to interfere. Fondas Lazarakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Chatzinikolaou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes, Giannis Chatzinikolaou made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Milan's Fondas Lazarakis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute Lambis Soupidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fondas Lazarakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vidhiαkion's zone, Akakios Koubilias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apostolis Bagasakos came out of the goal and Akakios Koubilias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
