Nestoras Kolonelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Kotsias, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Dimitris Kotsias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestoras Kolonelos having to make a save. If Alekos Valassopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Takis Drakopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Kraidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timos Panagou in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestoras Kolonelos saved REDS FC from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Michalis Geropappas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timos Panagou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to REDS FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Michalis Geropappas hit a great ball. REDS FC's Nestoras Kolonelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iakovos Dentzas in the 44th minute of play. After 47 played minutes REDS FC got a freekick which was hit by Theodosis Liolidis. Nestoras Kolonelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timos Panagou in the 48th minute of the match. The REDS FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KOKAS F.C were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nikos Kraidis to make the kick off. Nestoras Kolonelos made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Dimitris Kotsias sent off a good shot on target. Alekos Valassopoulos struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Takis Drakopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for REDS FC. After 56 played minutes KOKAS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Nasos Parlapidis. Dimitris Kotsias might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestoras Kolonelos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dimitris Kotsias ran back to his position shaking his head. Dimitris Kotsias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestoras Kolonelos having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Timos Panagou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KOKAS F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timos Panagou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of REDS FC booed when KOKAS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Kotsias didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nikos Kraidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, REDS FC's goalkeeper Nestoras Kolonelos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dimitris Kotsias. Michalis Geropappas's late challenge caught a KOKAS F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michalis Geropappas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Michalis Geropappas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giannis Tassioglou, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Nestoras Kolonelos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KOKAS F.C. The KOKAS F.C players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
