Lambis Soupidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th match minute, Black Royal Knights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Koutsis to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giannis Chatzinikolaou in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grigoris Bakolas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lambis Soupidis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tasos Boulas's late challenge caught a Black Royal Knights's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tasos Boulas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Black Royal Knights booed when Vidhiαkion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tasos Boulas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apostolis Bagasakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panagiotis Kosmopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vidhiαkion's Giannis Chatzinikolaou got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miltos Patsiavouras's late challenge caught a Vidhiαkion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miltos Patsiavouras helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd rose to their feet as Giannis Chatzinikolaou kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Grigoris Bakolas. That made the score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Chatzinikolaou in the 41st minute of play forced Black Royal Knights's goalkeeper Grigoris Bakolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lambis Soupidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Miltos Patsiavouras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Lambis Soupidis made a precise shot to the right of Grigoris Bakolas. Black Royal Knights's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Grigoris Bakolas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Chatzinikolaou, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Lambis Soupidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lambis Soupidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Vidhiαkion fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Vidhiαkion's Giannis Chatzinikolaou looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Black Royal Knights's Iason Tseberidis got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute of the match Vidhiαkion got a corner. Black Royal Knights's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vassilis Roditis ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 84th minute, Konstantinos Skarpathiotis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grigoris Bakolas was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Paris Karabelopoulos took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Apostolis Bagasakos to make any attempt to save it. Giannis Chatzinikolaou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
