The referee ignored Koutoumou Reloaded BC's protests and gave Veniamin Asimakopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. Emmanouil Vikatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefanos Zinantidis in the 20th minute of play. University of Pennsylvani's Lazaros Ntokas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save University of Pennsylvani from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charis Dimakoglou in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lazaros Ntokas saved University of Pennsylvani from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefanos Zinantidis got free with Emmanouil Vikatos in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute, Charis Dimakoglou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Koutoumou Reloaded BC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Lazaros Ntokas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takis Ikonomou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes Koutoumou Reloaded BC got a freekick which was hit by Charis Dimakoglou. In the 92nd minute, one of Koutoumou Reloaded BC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Koutoumou Reloaded BC. 94 minutes into the match, Panos Gabriilidis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emmanouil Vikatos. Koutoumou Reloaded BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Panos Gabriilidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 98 minutes into the match, University of Pennsylvani's goal looked a bit too open when Takis Ikonomou came free, but Lazaros Ntokas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. University of Pennsylvani's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
