After a rather tough play, Pakhtouri's Lambros Belevonis got a free kick in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Pakhtouri's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Miliokas came free, but Stathis Routseas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Lambros Asimos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pakhtouri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chouliarades the free kick. Pakhtouri's Stathis Routseas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Miliokas in the 9th minute of play. Emmanouil Gavrilidis kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Makis Giatrakis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stathis Routseas. Pakhtouri's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Giannis Miliokas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Stathis Routseas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pakhtouri's Stathis Routseas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Miliokas in the 23rd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Lambros Belevonis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Theocharis Zouvelekis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Stathis Routseas made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Miltos Seletopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Chouliarades's Theocharis Zouvelekis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iakovos Tsevas in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giannis Miliokas to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Pakhtouri's Theocharis Zouvelekis threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iakovos Tsevas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Iakovos Tsevas came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Pakhtouri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iakovos Tsevas couldn't finish the play. Miltos Seletopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stathis Routseas having to make a save. In the 61st minute, Lambros Belevonis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pakhtouri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Giannis Miliokas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Stathis Routseas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Miltos Seletopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stathis Routseas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stathis Routseas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miltos Seletopoulos's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Chouliarades's Miltos Seletopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stathis Routseas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th match minute, Pakhtouri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lambros Asimos to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Chouliarades's goalkeeper Theocharis Zouvelekis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lambros Belevonis. Thomas Alevizos charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Alevizos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pakhtouri eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
