Takis Ikonomou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Ermis Zanias made a huge save. After 14 minutes, Lefteris Lagos made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Koutoumou Reloaded BC's Emmanouil Vikatos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lefteris Lagos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Takis Ikonomou's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ermis Zanias firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of PAGOTENIOI booed when Koutoumou Reloaded BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Charisteas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michalis Mamalis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emmanouil Vikatos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Eutichios Prezerakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmanouil Vikatos having to interfere. After 36 minutes of play, PAGOTENIOI's Evripidis Bakolas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emmanouil Vikatos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 40 played minutes Charis Dimakoglou rounded PAGOTENIOI's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lefteris Lagos made a kick off. Michalis Mamalis charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a defensive mix-up in Koutoumou Reloaded BC's zone, Savas Skiadas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emmanouil Vikatos came out of the goal and Savas Skiadas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michalis Mamalis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmanouil Vikatos having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Takis Ikonomou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermis Zanias was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3.
