Despite this Alexandros Papantonakis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 24th minute, Valerios Voutsas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aristoi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Christos Kourkoubetis scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandros Papantonakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paschalis Ballas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valerios Voutsas in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Lakis Karkantos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristoi FC's Alexandros Papantonakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michalis Zelelidis in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Iosif Volakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Valerios Voutsas scored 3-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paschalis Ballas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valerios Voutsas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michalis Zelelidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandros Papantonakis having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aristoi FC's zone, Christos Kourkoubetis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandros Papantonakis came out of the goal and Christos Kourkoubetis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michalis Zelelidis got free with Alexandros Papantonakis in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miltiadis Chrysafis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandros Papantonakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. If Christos Kourkoubetis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paschalis Ballas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valerios Voutsas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lakis Karkantos hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Alexandros Papantonakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Kourkoubetis in the 85th minute of the match. Christos Kourkoubetis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Alexandros Papantonakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giorgos Tsatsos hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, DANAOS AE's Alexandros Papantonakis threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christos Kourkoubetis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aristoi FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of DANAOS AE for a fine match.
