Nikos Konstantinou hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. AMSTERDAM's Koulis Mitsotakis got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Koulis Mitsotakis made a kick off. Giannis Miliokas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Miltos Seletopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chouliarades's supporters rose to their feet, but Miltos Seletopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giorgos Kaliakatsos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute, Dimitris Pantos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Theocharis Zouvelekis was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 63 minutes into the match, AMSTERDAM's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Miliokas came free, but Giorgos Kaliakatsos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Chouliarades was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loukianos Pararas to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes, AMSTERDAM's Akis Aggelopoulos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Theocharis Zouvelekis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AMSTERDAM reached it. In the 70th minute, Koulis Mitsotakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AMSTERDAM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koulis Mitsotakis in the 74th minute of play forced Chouliarades's goalkeeper Theocharis Zouvelekis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Miltos Seletopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theocharis Zouvelekis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koulis Mitsotakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theocharis Zouvelekis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koulis Mitsotakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
