PAGOTENIOI's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Iosif Volakis 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. In the 24th minute, Lefteris Lagos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PAGOTENIOI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Giorgos Tsatsos's late challenge caught a PAGOTENIOI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After having played for 59 minutes, Takis Kadoglou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PAGOTENIOI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Takis Kadoglou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. PAGOTENIOI's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
