Marinos Stamatakopoulou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akis Siderakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. messangeles's Marinos Stamatakopoulou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akis Siderakis in the 10th minute of play. Panos Porneos charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Panos Porneos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of messangeles booed when PARALIES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panos Porneos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tasos Lissaridis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thymios Gounaris. PARALIES's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thanasis Tsalouchidis in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thymios Gounaris saved PARALIES from getting behind. After 21 played minutes, PARALIES's Alexis Kafropoulos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marinos Stamatakopoulou came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PARALIES reached it. Alexis Tsachalis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Marinos Stamatakopoulou made a huge save. A collision led to messangeles getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Miltos Gountelitsas hit a great ball. When Thanasis Tsalouchidis came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the messangeles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thanasis Tsalouchidis couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Thanasis Tsalouchidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The messangeles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half messangeles were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Marinos Stamatakopoulou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akis Siderakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexis Tsachalis during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexis Tsachalis hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Petros Vlantis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Petros Vlantis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. messangeles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petros Vlantis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th match minute, PARALIES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Porneos to maneuver through the defense.
