Spectators: 7693 (Terracing: 5771, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Timos Theofilopoulos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Theofilos Koutsoulis's late challenge caught a NIKH 1924's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theofilos Koutsoulis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of NIKH 1924 booed when Paidiki stegi fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theofilos Koutsoulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. NIKH 1924's Ilias Kakouras couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Paidiki stegi fc. The NIKH 1924 fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when NIKH 1924's Paraskevas Rentzis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paraskevas Rentzis in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dimosthenis Ntaralas saved Paidiki stegi fc from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Paidiki stegi fc's Giorgos Korelas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonidas Boniatis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theagenis Grifisas in the 26th minute of play forced Paidiki stegi fc's goalkeeper Dimosthenis Ntaralas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimosthenis Ntaralas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paraskevas Rentzis in the 27th minute of play. In the 38th minute Iordanis Renieris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimosthenis Ntaralas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Paraskevas Rentzis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimosthenis Ntaralas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Iordanis Renieris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimosthenis Ntaralas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The goalkeeper, Leonidas Boniatis, was totally fooled by Paidiki stegi fc's Simos Roumelos, who 48 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paraskevas Rentzis to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, NIKH 1924's Dimosthenis Ntaralas threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paraskevas Rentzis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paraskevas Rentzis in the 56th minute of play forced Paidiki stegi fc's goalkeeper Dimosthenis Ntaralas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, NIKH 1924's goal looked a bit too open when Timos Theofilopoulos came free, but Leonidas Boniatis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Paraskevas Rentzis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimosthenis Ntaralas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimosthenis Ntaralas had great luck who in the 78thth minute grab hold of the ball when Paraskevas Rentzis from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 80th minute, Paraskevas Rentzis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dimosthenis Ntaralas, passed just outside the right post. Paraskevas Rentzis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimosthenis Ntaralas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Paidiki stegi fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simos Roumelos to maneuver through the defense. Dimosthenis Ntaralas made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Theagenis Grifisas sent off a good shot on target. Theagenis Grifisas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dimosthenis Ntaralas having to make a save. The NIKH 1924 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing NIKH 1924 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
