The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonis Velas was the one to do the kick off. After 59 played minutes Xoϊdha got a freekick which was hit by Alekos Vrotsos. Christos Mourouzis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paraskevas Rentzis in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in NIKH 1924's zone, Panagiotis Giannou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonidas Boniatis came out of the goal and Panagiotis Giannou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Theagenis Grifisas managed to get in a good position for a shot. NIKH 1924's supporters rose to their feet, but Theagenis Grifisas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christos Mourouzis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonidas Boniatis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonis Velas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paraskevas Rentzis in the 76th minute of play forced Xoϊdha's goalkeeper Christos Mourouzis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, NIKH 1924's Christos Mourouzis threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paraskevas Rentzis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Paraskevas Rentzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
