In the 12th minute Nontas Tsouloufidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Martinos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, TO KAFENEIO's Apostolikas Lagonikakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apostolikas Lagonikakis in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonidas Boniatis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, NIKH 1924's Paraskevas Rentzis got a free kick in the 25th minute. A hard shot 28 in the game by Theagenis Grifisas from a close distance when the talented Christos Martinos managed to make a qualified save. TO KAFENEIO's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Apostolikas Lagonikakis in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonidas Boniatis saved NIKH 1924 from getting behind. 34 minutes into the game, Charis Agapakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Leonidas Boniatis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nikiforos Katsalis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 43 played minutes NIKH 1924 got a freekick which was hit by Nontas Tsouloufidis. NIKH 1924's Leonidas Boniatis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charis Agapakis in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Chatziantoniou Kazantzidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonidas Boniatis made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Apostolikas Lagonikakis sent off a good shot on target. Christos Martinos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nontas Tsouloufidis in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Paraskevas Rentzis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NIKH 1924 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Christos Martinos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paraskevas Rentzis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Nontas Tsouloufidis notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of TO KAFENEIO's Christos Martinos. Christos Martinos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. TO KAFENEIO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
