Spectators: 6778 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Themis Koulakidis got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Themis Koulakidis in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikitas Zervoulakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Giannikos in the 10th minute of play forced Lapokhσri's goalkeeper Stathis Ipsilantis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikitas Zervoulakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Themis Koulakidis's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Petros Bantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Stathis Ipsilantis made a huge save. In the 19th minute, Melissia's Telis Chasiotis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Nikitas Zervoulakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themis Koulakidis in the 26th minute of the match. Iosif Ntounias hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Lapokhσri's Stathis Ipsilantis got control of the ball when Petros Bantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lapokhσri's Paraskevas Theofilopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nikitas Zervoulakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themis Koulakidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Telis Chasiotis hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Alexis Giannikos's late challenge caught a Lapokhσri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexis Giannikos helped the player get up and apologised. Paraskevas Theofilopoulos, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Zinon Pentaras got free with Nikitas Zervoulakis in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nikitas Zervoulakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themis Koulakidis in the 57th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Lapokhσri's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Giannikos came free, but Stathis Ipsilantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Themis Koulakidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikitas Zervoulakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Themis Koulakidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikitas Zervoulakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Themis Koulakidis ran back to his position shaking his head. Themis Koulakidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikitas Zervoulakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, Melissia's Petros Bantas made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stathis Ipsilantis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Melissia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
