Sokratis Stasinos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Nikitas Zervoulakis made a huge save. In the 18th minute, Sokratis Stasinos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charalambos Spyropoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikitas Zervoulakis having to interfere. After 29 played minutes, Melissia's Kleon Bosoulas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Grigoris Karoulas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Melissia reached it. Petros Bantas struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Grigoris Karoulas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melissia. 38 minutes into the match, Melissia's goalkeeper Nikitas Zervoulakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sokratis Stasinos. Stratos Macheritsas scored 0-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grigoris Karoulas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stratos Macheritsas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Grigoris Karoulas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Melissia were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Stratos Macheritsas made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in PAO KORINTHOU's zone, Stratos Macheritsas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grigoris Karoulas came out of the goal and Stratos Macheritsas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, PAO KORINTHOU's Sokratis Stasinos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nikitas Zervoulakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Petros Bantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nikitas Zervoulakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sokratis Stasinos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 played minutes Melissia got a freekick which was hit by Telis Chasiotis. After having played for 73 minutes, Charalambos Spyropoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PAO KORINTHOU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charalambos Spyropoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nikitas Zervoulakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charalambos Spyropoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Charalambos Spyropoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Nikitas Zervoulakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, PAO KORINTHOU's Grigoris Karoulas got control of the ball when Petros Bantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fotis Labaras kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Melissia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
