Alexandros Konidakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelios Konstantopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Stelios Kalantas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexandros Konidakis was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 20th match minute, Johny F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stratos Vyntras to maneuver through the defense. Kostas Pelidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miltos Kalopoulos in the 39th minute of the match. If Thomas Koutsoures had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alkaios Moisidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandros Konidakis having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Miltos Kalopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Johny F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Miltos Kalopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kostas Pelidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stelios Konstantopoulos was the one to do the kick off. When Stelios Kalantas fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΜΙΜΗΣ Π.Α.'s protests and gave Stelios Kalantas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Johny F.C. booed when ΜΙΜΗΣ Π.Α. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelios Kalantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johny F.C.'s Eugenios Charatos pulled a muscle in his leg after 59 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 60th match minute, ΜΙΜΗΣ Π.Α. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stelios Konstantopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Though ot was a great shot ΜΙΜΗΣ Π.Α.'s keeper Kostas Pelidis was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. A collision led to ΜΙΜΗΣ Π.Α. getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Fanis Koutsoulis hit a great ball. A collision led to Johny F.C. getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Koulis Pantelopoulos hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Johny F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Stelios Konstantopoulos came free, but Alexandros Konidakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stelios Kalantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Johny F.C. players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented ΜΙΜΗΣ Π.Α. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
